Cherry Blossom Festival

Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya is going to host Cherry Blossom Festival again this year. The winter festival is going to be a 3-day event starting on 17th November. The festival is organized to promote tourism in the region and is a great event for music lovers. This year also many famous international music bands are going to perform at the event. The festival also showcases the culture, food and heritage of the state of Meghalaya and its people. The festival hosts several competitions for singing, fashion shows, cosplay, local winemaking, food etc.

Majuli Rass Mahotsav
Majuli Raas Mahotsav
is a four-day festival that celebrates the life of Lord Krishna through using folk dances, masks, songs and dance dramas. Every year it is organised on the largest
river island in the world, located in Assam, Majuli. This world's largest river
island on the Brahmaputra River attracts tourists from
all over the world.
The festival is organized by the various
satras of Majuli, which are the centres of Vaishnavite art and culture. The
festival creates an atmosphere of devotional feelings among the visitors, with
the surroundings, raas celebrations and performances. The festival attracts
pilgrims and tourists from all over the country and abroad, who come to witness
the rich and colourful cultural heritage of Majuli.
Majuli Raas Mahotsav is not only a religious festival but also a celebration of the unique identity and diversity of Majuli. The festival also displays the craftsmanship and creativity of the local people, who make handmade props, costumes and decorations for the performances.
Hornbill Festival
This mega event is organized every year to
celebrate Naga Culture, traditions and Heritage. The Hornbill Festival is held in Nagaland, a state in the northeastern part of India for 10 days to showcase the culture and heritage of the Naga people, tribal culture, food, traditional

Orange Festival Dambuk
