Yoga










Never thought that one day health and fitness will be so important in my life. When we ignore our health and body for our workload and enthusiasm, that is the reward we receive in return. And that happens so suddenly but takes a long time to feel fit and energetic like before. Now I remember how many breakfasts I skipped or how many lunches I ate from outside or late. Every day when I prepare food as per my food chart then I realize how lazy I was. Then I thought and took my side, I was not lazy. The only issue was not having a proper meal plan for the week. But as the alarm bells have rung now I am alert.


Always with a proper diet and meal planning, some kind of physical activity is also important for a balanced and healthy lifestyle. For all that time management comes as an integral part of everything we do. 


While doing my kind of research which is based on my love for comfort as I thought I can't do tough yoga postures because of severe back pain and weakness so what are the options that I can opt for. I always heard of Hatha Yoga form in different Yoga workshops and from Yoga practitioners but never tried that with a proper routine.


Way back to school days when we used to have the weekly Yoga classes we used to plan excuses two-three days prior. Few excuses are like, forgot to carry yoga pants, stomach pain, low BP, etc etc. Our teacher was quite well-versed with those excuses but tried to motivate us to attend classes. But at that age, because we used to eat all spicy, outside foods naturally had put on weight at a growing stage. Girls who were slim trim were considered unhealthy. So we were not disturbed by obesity complexion as there were no negative comments on our figure.


But after a few years when I used to hang around with a larger group of people then started to face a growing complexity on the weight issues. Never tried to get a very slim trim stage but started doing some yoga and aerobics initially.


Later when staying at the girl's hostel also joined a group of girls who used to practice yoga at Park. That continued for 9 to 10 months. In winter it is not easy to wake up at 4:30 am in morning and practice yoga at an open Park.
